The challenge was real. I was finally given the go ahead to give Commercial Bank the brand it so deserved. After months of research and insights, we were finally able to give CB a proud and sustainable brand. The family like atmosphere is palpable at CB and we enjoyed (still do) a marvelous relationship. My personal commitment to CB was such that I asked Karolina Pachucy, one of my best strategists and brand experts to join the CB marketing team as their Brand Manager and to oversee the smooth and continuous transition and execution of the full branding program. It didn't take long before we started seeing how the CB brand was evolving and how it started impacting the products and services CB was so eager to bring to the Qatari market. Mr Hussein Al Abdallah (Chief Marketing Officer) deserves all credit for having given me and the team this opportunity and for having believed and pushed for such radical change in a market known for being conservative.
